Delta Sigma Awarded Chapter Status, Wins Convention Awards
Delta Sigma was granted full chapter status at the 169th General Convention in Dallas, TX, marking an historic point for the UC Irvine Betas. Celebrating on Beta Theta Pi's founders day, August 8th, the Delta Sigma Chapter now joins over 115 other active chapters across the U.S. and Canada in Beta's broad domain. In other great news from Dallas, the Delta Sigma Chapter was awarded the Francis H. Sisson Award for Chapter Excellence and the Charles H. Hardin Award for Leadership Development. Always striving for excellence, the Delta Sigma Chapter is sure to win countless more awards in the years to come. Congratulations, brothers!


DSR 2008
The 3rd Annual Dragon Skate Race was a huge success! The Betas raised thousands of dollars for the Prosthetics Outreach Foundation while having a great time. Thanks to all that came out and made this year our biggest DSR ever! The countdown begins again til DSR4...check out the DSR Page for more.

Iota Pledge Class
Welcome to the Iota Pledge class, our largest to date! Comprised of 21 young men looking to better themselves as leaders, gentlemen, and scholars, they are sure to make an immediate impact on the UCI community. Good luck!

IFC and Officer Elections
The Betas at UCI are proud to announce the election of Matt Villasenor to the IFC Executive Board. He will serve the Greek community as Vice President of Fraternal Relations and represent Beta to the entire campus. Also on the election front, the new executive board and officers were elected. Congratulations to all the future leaders of Beta Theta Pi! Check out the actives and officers here.

Start the New Year with Leadership
A special commendation goes out to Patrick Ngo, Chetman Yu and Ed Aguirre for attending Futures Quest, a conference on leadership in the Greek community, in Indianapolis.

Congratulations to President-Elect Michael Brenan on his recent victory. He will be leading Beta Theta Pi towards new heights in 2008!

Irvine Betas Win Leadership Award
The brothers of Beta Theta Pi at UCI won the Charles Henry Hardin Leadership Development Award at this year's 168th General Convention in Orlando, FL. This award is given to chapters excelling in making their brothers better leaders on campus and in the community. Congratulations on continued excellence!

Championship Betas at the White House
Congratulations to brothers Jon Steller and Mac Waite for being 2007 NCAA Men's Volleyball Champions! The Anteaters won the title with the help of our two brothers and earned a visit to the White House to meet the President.

Betas Leading UC Irvine
Congratulations to brother Kyle Olney for being elected Executive Vice President of UC Irvine's Associated Student Government. Beta Theta Pi continues to lead in many facets on campus and brother Olney's victory will be sure to positively impact every single student on campus. Other Betas involved in ASUCI are brothers Nikhil Damle and Alex Lamb. Make us proud, brothers!
